PTSI, a sulfonyl isocyanate, is the world’s most effective water scavenger. It’s used in the production of adhesives, sealants, urethanes, paints and coatings. By partnering with Maroon, a specialist in isocyanates, ChemMet now has a major position in supplying PTSI to the North American market. Together, we’re committed to delivering the highest-quality product under the most stringent safety standards.

We maintain warehouses and support systems in California, Mexico and Canada, and have our main warehouse in Avon, Ohio. We source our PTSI from a Chinese partner, Jiahua, because we understand the clear advantages of using an Asian supplier. Unlike a domestic supplier, who has to purchase the key materials of CO, CL2 and PTSA from around the world, Jiahua has access to all the raw materials necessary to make PTSI. Jiahua is also a global supplier of PTSA, a critical raw material.

Safety and quality are our primary concerns. That’s why we maintain an independent lab in China to ensure all materials are thoroughly analyzed and evaluated prior to their arrival in the North American market. Our supplier, Jiahua, is both ISO 9000 and ISO 14001 certified according to the standards for quality in the chemical industry. Our partners in China audit all our suppliers, including Jiahua, and any potential suppliers based upon EHSQ (Environmental Health Safety and Quality).
